Who is the Cohort for?

This cohort is designed for any Christian woman who is interested in learning how to defend the Christian faith and biblical worldview.

Does my denomination matter?

No. If you are a Christian, your denomination doesn't matter. The evidence for Christianity is not denominationally based. So whether you are a non-denominational Christian, Protestant, Catholic, or unsure, you will benefit from the cohort.

Do I need to know the Bible?

No. It helps, but it's not required to be part of the cohort. In fact, even though this isn't a Bible Study course, you'll find that Liz will incorporate a lot of Scripture into certain portions of the cohort—so no matter how much or how little you know, you're likely to walk away feeling more solid in your scriptural knowledge.

Do I need to be "academic" to enjoy the cohort?

No. Liz is going to seminary, so you don't have to. The cohort is designed to make Christian apologetics approachable and applicable to your daily life.

What makes this cohort special?

Hosted by Liz Cobo, a trained Christian Apologist, this cohort is designed to welcome Christian women of all denominations and backgrounds to a community designed to help them confidently defend the Christian faith and biblical worldview. Liz is graduating in May 2026 with a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics at the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University and has worked diligently to study apologetics so she can pass the skills and knowledge needed to gently and respectfully defend the Christian faith on to other women.

Liz is an experienced teacher and presenter and helps you to learn how to study and talk about your faith in an easy-to-understand, approachable way. No need to be intimidated or overwhelmed. You can do this!

This cohort is a place to learn, to grow, and to practice having the difficult conversations we are confronted with often as Christians.

I'm ready to register!

Hi, I'm Liz!

I'm a Christian Apologist, writer, and speaker.  I am passionate about helping women learn to gracefully defend the Christian faith and biblical worldview. I'm graduating in May 2026 with a Master's degree in Christian Apologetics from the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University.

My friends like to joke I'm going to seminary, so they don't have to. And neither do you—unless of course that's where the Lord is calling you.

A few years ago I was convicted by the Holy Spirit that I needed to pursue a theological education (seminary) so I could confidently create content for Christian women which stays within the bounds of orthodox trinitarian Christianity.

It's important to me that you can trust the content you receive from me. It matters to me that it's theologically sound. It matters to me that it's well researched. It matters to me that it's easy to understand.

To see what I believe check out my Statement of Faith on my personal website.
