“Liz’s retreat was exactly what I needed—a relaxing and fun weekend away, where I could connect with other women, enjoy time in a beautiful location, and brush up on all things apologetics. I left feeling more anchored in my faith, more confident in sharing the gospel, and empowered to live out the calling to go and make disciples.”

Attendees will have the option to select, based on availability, the room type they prefer: private or shared. Retreat investment varies based on selection. If you are attending with a friend you may request a shared room in your attendee questionnaire, sent after your deposit is received.
In-house Meals
In-house meals are provided for you, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an assortment of snacks. You're encouraged to bring or arrange for any specialty items you want/need during the retreat. The address will be provided for you so you can InstaCart if needed.

Transportation & Travel
The retreat house is located in Orange Beach, Alabama. You will need to arrange your own travel to and from the retreat. You will be connected with other women attending the retreat and many past attendees have opted to share rental cars and rides!
Air-Travel
If you'll be flying in for the retreat, there are 3 airports in the region.
PNS, Pensacola International Airport | Pensacola, FL
This is a great airport to fly in and out of. It's small and the security line is typically pretty quick (less than 20 minutes without TSA Pre-Check). PNS is located approximately one-hour East of Orange Beach, Alabama. In the past many attendees have shared a rental car from PNS.
BFM, Mobile International Airport | Mobile, AL
This airport is approximately one hour West of Orange Beach, Alabama.
GUF, Gulf Shores Airport, Gulf Shores, AL
This small regional airport is only about 20 minutes from the retreat house! But... right now only Allegiant Air flies in and out of there.
What to Pack
You won't need a lot for our time together, but here's a list of items you will definitely want to bring, and some you might be glad you packed.
Definitely Pack:
- A physical Bible. It doesn't have to be big, but it's good to bring a physical, "tree" Bible.
- You'll receive a retreat notebook and having your favorite pen is always a good idea!
- Comfy clothes for our in-house sessions. No need to be fancy. The vibe is summer-cozy.
- An outfit for dinner out. We'll be going out for dinner on the last night to a water front restaurant. This is your chance to wear that summer dress or beachy jumpsuit you've been keeping in the back of your closet!
- Your own reusable water bottle.
- P.S. Leave a little room in your suitcase for a few retreat goodies Liz will be sending home with you.
You Might Also Want:
- Swim-wear. There is a heated (as in really heated, bathwater warm) resort style pool and the beach is five minutes away. Last year several of us spent time floating in the water while others enjoyed downtime sitting on the beach.
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Sweatshirt & Sweatpants for lounging!
- That book you've been meaning to start or finish. You wont have a lot of reading time, but we will have some daily downtime to rest our brains and if you love to read, this is your chance!

Her own journey has been so inspiring and I am grateful God is using her to help other women understand who Jesus is and how to help make sense of the Bible. I would highly recommend any opportunity you have to learn from her at any point during your faith journey."
