Apologetics Retreat for Christian Women Hosted by Liz Cobo
Orange Beach Alabama | August 24-27, 2026
If you feel like the world is struggling with the basics of truth right now—you're not alone. Increasingly society is falling for the lie that truth is relative, meaning it's not grounded in anything. As Christian women, we know truth is grounded in God. But how do you explain that to someone who disagrees? How can you help them to see that truth is not on a sliding scale? You learn the evidence and how to effectively and gracefully communicate it.
The Let's Talk Truth Retreat is for Christian women who want to have deep, real, and fruitful conversations about truth, including the truth for Christianity, and how to gracefully defend it.
Why Should You Come?
Are you a Christian woman who wants to learn how to defend your faith gracefully? Do you know the evidence for your faith? Are you comfortable communicating it?
The Let's Talk Truth retreat hosted by Liz Cobo gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the evidence for Christianity, to ask your big questions, practice answering hard questions in a safe and encouraging environment, and prepare for hard conversations with those you love as well as those you've never met before.
What You'll Gain by Coming:
At the retreat you'll gain the confidence to have hard conversations gracefully. You'll learn about the evidence for Christianity and you'll have tools to help you navigate hard conversations. You'll be more comfortable talking with unbelievers and those who are struggling with their faith.
Plus, you'll make and grow friendships with other women who love Jesus and are committed to sharing the truth in love!
What You'll Lose by Coming:
Your fear of not knowing what to say. We've all been there. Someone asks a hard question, or makes a statement about Christianity you know isn't true, but you aren't sure what to say. Being at the retreat will help you lose your fear of saying the wrong thing or nothing at all. You'll know how to proceed and the key elements of a fruitful faith-based conversation.
